Sustainable Viral Marketing Tactic #3: Hold a contest

Every year I host the Ultimate Marketing Contest (For best Gimmick, Tactic, Stunt, and on a limited Budget). This allows me to network and connect with the brilliant minds behind marketing, drive traffic to my blog, and deliver valuable recognition to people who deserve to be recognized.

Holding a contest with 1-10 winners can create the word-of-mouth promotion everyone needs and wants. You can gain free press for starting the contest, plus publishing the winners is great for more press coverage.
